Electrical Engineer
Overview
An established international engineering contractor is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its project delivery team on major construction and engineering projects in Belgium.
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary project teams on complex installations across the building services and construction sector. The successful candidate will contribute to the technical delivery of projects from design review through to installation and commissioning.
This role also provides strong opportunities for career progression and professional development, including support toward chartered engineer status.

Key Responsibilities
* Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks and technical issues.
* Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
* Analyse supplier and subcontractor information to ensure compliance with design requirements.
* Participate in design reviews and validate electrical systems and equipment.
* Prepare and manage technical documentation including RFIs, equipment registers and submittals.
* Identify scope gaps or inconsistencies within design documentation.
* Coordinate with project teams, suppliers and site personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Conduct site inspections and system walk-downs to verify quality and compliance with project standards.

Requirements
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar engineering role within construction, building services or engineering projects.
* Ability to review electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
* Strong organisational and planning skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience using Revit or BIM tools would be advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Previous electrical trade background is beneficial but not essential.
