To strengthen our Finance Team at our headquarters in Antwerp, Manuchar is looking for a GL Accountant. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance in line with IFRS and Manuchar’s accounting policies. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and actively contribute to efficient closing processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, including correct P&L presentation at G/L and cost center level Perform month-end and year-end closings, including posting journal entries, accruals, amortizations and reclassifications Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, analyse variances and resolve discrepancies Safeguard the quality and integrity of the general ledger and support internal and external audits Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Controlling and Consolidation teams and act as a point of contact for accounting-related questions Advise internal stakeholders on proper financial treatment and compliance Identify and implement process improvements and support automation and ERP initiatives (Microsoft Dynamics 365) Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with experience in General Ledger accounting in an international environment Solid knowledge of IFRS, VAT and relevant tax regulations Fluent in English and Dutch Detail-oriented, accountable and proactive, with a solution-focused mindset Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with various stakeholders Strong Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset Motivated to improve processes and contribute to efficiency and standardisation What we offer Working at Manuchar means joining a growing global company where collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement are truly valued.
