We’re expanding and currently looking for an MRB/MAP Specialist – Aerospace to join and strengthen our engineering team onsite at a customer location in the Greater Brussels, Belgium area.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting aerospace development and production activities, bridging MRB (Material Review Board) and MAP (Mise au Point) responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for analyzing and resolving nonconformities, validating manufacturing processes, and supporting engineering teams with your combined stress and design engineering expertise.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including stress, design, methods, quality, and production on complex technical challenges within a collaborative, international environment.
Your main tasks will be:
* Leading MRB investigations and determining technical dispositions (Use-as-is, Repair, Rework, Scrap)
* Participating in MAP Task 100 (Design Engineering) and MAP Task 300 (Stress Validation) phases
* Providing technical input on nonconformities, with supporting stress calculations or design modifications
* Coordinating closely with stress and design engineers to define viable repair or rework solutions
* Supporting the industrialization process during the mise au point phase
* Ensuring traceability and compliance with internal and customer standards
* Preparing and maintaining accurate technical documentation in ERP/PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter)
* Collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to identify root causes and propose corrective actions
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of MRB and MAP processes
Requirements
* Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the aerospace sector in MRB, MAP, stress analysis, and design engineering roles
* Proven knowledge of Airbus MAP Task 100 and Airbus MAP Task 300 methodologies
* Solid understanding of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes, both metallic and composite
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
* Strong working knowledge of stress analysis, repair validation, and producibility engineering
* Knowledge of CATIA V5 (3D modeling, drawing creation, design updates)
* Experience with ERP and PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter)
* Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
* Fluent in English and French
