About the role
Embark on an exciting journey by joining our dynamic team as a Commercial Manager. This newly crafted role spearheads Kyoto's business development and commercialisation efforts within the country. Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and the Commercial Director of Iberia, you will be at the forefront of expanding Kyoto's regional influence and impact. Your role is pivotal in shaping and advancing Kyoto's presence in Spain, and it requires occasional travel to meet with customers, prospects, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Identifying key players and decision-makers within relevant industries and targeted accounts.
* Generating interest and demand for Kyoto's innovative Heatcube in the specified industries.
* Establishing a robust pipeline of commercial opportunities for Heatcube.
* Building and nurturing customer relationships with targeted accounts.
* Ensuring Kyoto Group's participation in all relevant Request for Quotations (RFQs).
* Prepare and submit high-quality bids and offers in a timely manner.
* Providing valuable industry insights to Kyoto's product development team.
* Actively participate and contribute market insights in strategic discussions within the commercial team.
Required skills & experiences
* Relevant experience in business development and commercial roles, focusing on solution sales.
* Preferably, experience in energy, manufacturing, or other strong B2B sales organisations.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to execute initiatives effectively.
* A 'can-do' attitude, customer focus, and self-management skills.
* Excellent presentation skills and storytelling capabilities.
* University/college degree in commercial and/or relevant technical fields.
* 5+ years of experience in similar roles such as Sales or Bid Manager.
* Experience in the energy sector and/or heat-intensive industry.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong analytical capabilities, commercial instinct, and problem-solving skills.
