Customer Service Representative – COM Department We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our COM department. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders and responding to inquiries from both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities -Handle customer interactions related to service issues, order processing, and support services; -Begin developing strong relationships with a defined portfolio of customers; -Act as backup support for Customer Service colleagues as needed; -Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery; -Ensure full compliance with Cummins’ Customer Support Excellence standards; -Process and amend orders in the system, providing immediate confirmations to customers; -Oversee the daily dropship process for Parts Distribution Centers within the Cummins Global Logistics Network; -Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure complete and accurate documentation for timely deliveries; -Monitor order status and due dates in line with Customer Service KPIs; -Respond promptly to customer requests for information or updates; -Promote the use of Cummins services, including online ordering tools such as WebParts and EDI; -Communicate via multiple channels (calls, emails, faxes) to resolve inquiries; -Step in to assist with colleague portfolios during absences; -Proactively inform customers about the status of their orders, backorders, and shipments; -Ensure timely invoicing and shipping of parts, especially at month-end; -Support issue resolution by helping implement cost-effective recovery plans. 1. Experience: 2–3 years in a customer service role
2. Background: Familiarity with logistics processes (import/export/transportation) is requiredExcellent communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, proactive attitude
3. Technical Skills:
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications
5. Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous
6. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus

Opleiding: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Experience in international customer service or a commercial environment is preferred
Vakkennis: We are looking for someone with 2 to 3 years of experience in Customer Service.
Talenkennis: English fluency (spoken and written) is required Dutch is a strong plus, but not mandatory

14. Contract type: Full-time (39 hours/week)
15. Initial duration: 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension
16. Work setup: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week (Tuesdays + 2 other days)
17. Training period: Onsite presence required 5 days per week during initial training
