Context
The internship program is a unique opportunity to discover Fund Management and the environment of financial markets. As an intern you will be an integral part of our team and you will gain a wide range of practical experience. As we extensively invest in young talents, you will receive on-the-job training and work alongside talented professionals. Our program generally spans 4 to 6 months, but duration can vary depending on our business needs and your availability.
Your position
Role
You will join a team of Fund Managers in charge of several multi-assets funds totaling over €12bn in AUM. Your role will include:
* Investment support: developing tools for performing company analysis, streamlining the decision-making process, and improving the tracking of the execution excellence.
* Automation & reporting: developing automated process solutions for various office tasks and expanding the reporting solutions offered by BDP Fund Management
* ESG integration: helping in the creation and completion of ESG reports
* Reporting to the Head of BDP Fund Management, you participate to the team meetings with discussions on portfolio construction, generation of investment ideas and the investment strategy
* You will interact with investment analysts, fund managers and Private Bankers
Your profile
Ideally, We Are Looking For The Following Profile
* You have solid academic credentials, preferably a master's degree in Finance, Civil Engineering, Economics, Business or Software Science
* You are fluent in English and Dutch or French
* You are strong in Data Analytics with above par knowledge of Python, Excel / VBA and Power BI
* You are proficient in MS office
* You are interested in financial markets with a good understanding of financial economics & global macro and a good knowledge of different financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, currencies)
* You have strong analytical skills and pay attention to details
* You are able to work independently but you also enjoy working in a team setting
