Job Description
Translate energy regulations into practical advice for business units
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and energy‑related contracts
Support renewable energy projects: land tenure, collaboration agreements, tenders, permits
Advise on urban planning, real estate, environmental, energy, and commercial law
Ensure compliance for grid‑related projects in Belgium
Assist with behind‑the‑meter projects (solar, battery storage, EV charging)
Coordinate notarization processes and manage legal documentation
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance
Prepare internal legal documents and board presentations
Support legal audits, contract management, and dispute resolution
The Successful Applicant
Belgian Master's degree in Law
3 to 8 years of experience in urban planning, environmental, energy, or commercial law
Experience in a law firm or energy company legal department
Fluency in Dutch or French, with strong English skills
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain clear oversight
Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
High integrity and collaborative approach
Analytical thinker with ability to handle complex issues
