If you are passionate about transforming industries, thrive in an environment of continuous learning, and are driven by outcomes, not just output, then this is the role for you.You will animate an empowered product duo or trio (Product Manager, Designer, Engineer) dedicated to a specific customer problem space within Qover's product portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand our users, identify impactful opportunities, and continuously deliver valuable, usable, feasible, and viable solutions that contribute directly to Qover's strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Product Manager for the Data Team, your "customers" are both internal (our squads and business teams) and external (Tier 1 partners who demand high-fidelity reporting and insights). You don't just manage a pipeline; you manage Data as aProduct. Your mission is to transform our vast insurance data into a robust, scalable, and high-performance asset. You will be the architect of our data strategy, ensuring that every deal we sign is backed by enterprise-grade reliability, and every product decision we make is fueled by accurate, real-time insights.Specific focus for this role:● Data Robustification: Lead the charge in shifting our data infrastructure from reactive fixes to strategic scalability. You will be responsible for defining the "Standard Data Product" that reduces maintenance overhead and lowers our KTLO ratio.● Strategic Enablement: You will bridge the gap between complex data engineering and business value, ensuring our data hooks, reporting layers, and models are usable, feasible, and directly tied to revenue growth.● Enterprise-Grade Governance: As we scale with entreprise partners, you will ensure our data products meet the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and performance monitoring.Your role will be articulated across six core pillars:Product Strategy○ Own your problem space: Understand and articulate the product strategy for your specific domain, ensuring all your team's efforts align with Qover's overarching product vision and company objectives.○ Outcome-driven thinking: Translate high-level business goals into clear, measurable product outcomes for your team, guiding discovery and delivery towards tangible impact, rather than just a list of features.○ Market & Customer Alignment: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and Qover's unique strengths to identify strategic opportunities and ensure your product area remains competitive and relevant. Product Discovery○ Deep Customer Empathy: Conduct weekly customer interviews to gain profound insights into user needs, pain points, and desires. Be the voice of the customer within your team.○ Opportunity Identification: Actively develop and maintain a framework for prioritization, either an Opportunity Solution Tree (OST), a Job to be done framework (JTBD), or a simple RICE for your product area, mapping desired outcomes to validated customer opportunities and potential solutions.○ Rapid Assumption Testing: Work hand-in-hand with your designer and engineer to design and execute rapid, iterative assumption tests (, prototypes, A/B tests, fake door tests) to validate desirability, viability, feasibility, usability, and ethical considerations before significant investment in development. Your goal is to learn fast and de-risk solutions.○ Problem-solving focus: Champion a problem-first approach, ensuring that solutions are born from a deep understanding of validated customer needs.○ Data User Research: Treat data consumers (internal analysts, partners, and automated systems) as users. Conduct discovery to understand how data can solve their "Information Pain Points." Product Delivery○ Backlog Ownership: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for your area, ensuring clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and a consistent flow of value to customers.○ Iterative Development: Collaborate seamlessly with your engineering team to break down complex problems into manageable increments, enabling frequent releases and continuous learning.○ Quality & Scalability: Partner with engineering to ensure solutions are not only delivered efficiently but are also high-quality, robust, maintainable, and scalable for Qover's future growth.○ Outcome Measurement: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for your product initiatives, constantly iterating based on data and user feedback to achieve desired outcomes.○ Managing the Data Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data, from ingestion and transformation to visualization and sunsetting of legacy data modules. Collaboration○ Product Trio Leader: You are the central figure in your empowered product trio, fostering an environment of shared understanding, mutual respect, and collective ownership with your dedicated Product Designer and Lead Engineer.○ Cross-functional Partner: Build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (, Revenue, Marketing, Care, Claims, Delivery, Legal ) to ensure alignment, gather feedback, and incorporate diverse perspectives into your product decisions.○ Shared Context: Proactively provide context and clarity to your team and stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands the "why" behind what we're building and their role in achieving success. Evangelization○ Storyteller: Articulate compelling narratives about customer problems, product solutions, and their business impact to internal teams and stakeholders.○ Insight Sharer: Regularly share customer stories and discovery insights (from your weekly customer interviews) to foster empathy and a customer-centric mindset across the organization.○ Weekly updates : Provide weekly updates to the rest of Qover on what you learned and achieved as a squad on a weekly basis.○ Product Advocate: Champion the product-led way of working within Qover, helping others understand the value of continuous discovery, iterative development, and outcome-driven thinking.
