Your role and responsibilities
As our Global Commercial Analyst, you aren't just crunching numbers; you are the architect of our commercial strategy. You will lead high-impact projects worldwide, diving deep into data to uncover hidden patterns, highlight market shifts, and generate the insights that fuel our global sales and profitable growth. You will sit at the intersection of data and business strategy, turning raw figures into a compelling narrative for our executive leadership.
1. Lead the end-to-end execution of global commercial analytics projects, identifying opportunities to optimize company performance and profitability.
2. Use data to tell a story, conducting in-depth analysis and ensuring that specific business outcomes are achieved.
3. Act as a strategic partner to leaders across all organizational layers, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
4. Serve as a core member of our Commercial Insights CoE, establishing best practices and mentoring stakeholders on data-driven decision-making.
5. Design and deliver monthly commercial performance dashboards—from operational deep-dives to executive-level summaries—ensuring stakeholders understand the "why" behind the "what."
6. Beyond just tracking stats, you will define and implement new, forward-looking KPIs (e.g., Win/Loss analysis, E2E profitability, … ) to sharpen our competitive edge.
7. Gather and analyze diverse datasets (sales, margin, stock info, win rates, customer & product data, …) to build a robust, global reporting framework.
How to succeed / Your profile
8. You possess the rare dual ability to perform rigorous, deep-dive analysis while translating complex findings into clear, strategic insights for senior leadership.
9. You have a Master's degree in economics or equivalent through experience.
10. You have a very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
11. You don’t wait for instructions—you identify gaps and propose solutions independently.
12. You are a communicative team player who is flexible and proactive and thrives in a dynamic, global environment..
13. High accuracy and a structured approach to data.
14. Proven project management experience.
15. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and Tableau (or similar BI tools) for visualization.
