Join a multidisciplinary, multicultural, and international team as a System Engineer in the railway signalling sector. Your main mission will be to analyze, define, and develop the system architecture and functions for railway signalling systems.
You will work closely with team members to analyze input needs, define and allocate requirements, evaluate design trade-offs, assess technical risks, and define system architecture, functions, and interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, clarify, and validate input requirements and needs.
Perform conceptual design through system modeling, design studies, design rationales, design principles, real-time analysis, modeling, and mock-ups for technical de-risking and optimization.
Resolve interfaces and develop formal modeling and requirement writing according to design standards and guidelines.
Formalize and maintain system specifications and ensure traceability throughout documentation up to the input needs.
Collaborate with RAM, safety, sub-system, cybersecurity, software, product, and V&V teams to develop design concepts and ensure specification completeness and acceptance.
Organize, conduct, and participate in technical reviews (design reviews, document reviews) and consult end-users and experts.
Coordinate with other System Engineers and engineering teams to ensure design fits the intended system architecture.
Stay informed of technological developments and contribute to continuous improvement (lessons learned, process improvements, etc.).
Ensure standardization and reuse of existing solutions and provide an efficient system deployment kit (tools, user documentation, etc.).
Provide support to external program stakeholders (customers, users, tenders).
