**Job Title:** System Integration Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration Specialist to oversee the safe, timely, and efficient design, installation, and commissioning of critical systems and IT infrastructure within the built environment.
This challenging position requires excellent leadership and organisational skills to manage services on and off-site, providing direction to project managers, supervisors, and various sub-contractors as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and review key commissioning documents, including owner's project requirements, basis of design, and commissioning plan.
* Facilitate stakeholder collaboration through kick-off meetings and create a detailed project directory to ensure streamlined project execution.
* Facilitate level 2 to level 4 commissioning workshops, oversee factory and field witness tests, and prepare comprehensive reports to ensure project compliance.
* Develop detailed commissioning checklists and test scripts, while maintaining accurate documentation through site observation reports and a commissioning tracker.
* Regularly conduct client and commissioning meetings to sustain clear communication and monitor progress effectively.
* Manage level 4 commissioning, address issues with project teams, and present detailed reports to stakeholders.
* Prepare level 5 test scripts and lead pre-integrated systems testing meetings to ensure a seamless transition.
* Coordinate level 5 commissioning activities and produce preliminary reports that highlight achievements and areas for enhancement.
* Organise system training data collection for end-user preparedness and review operations and maintenance procedures for accuracy.
* Lead the lessons learned workshop to gather insights for future projects and deliver the final commissioning report, summarising the process and outcomes to ensure a smooth project handover.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Completion of trade apprenticeship or relevant qualifications.
* CSCS/Safe Pass/ECS/SMSTS holder.
* HNC – Electrical or Building Services.
* Proven data centre delivery track record.
* BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
