We are looking for a seasoned Data Manager to drive the implementation of our data vision in the Power Technique Business Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding the roadmap and priorities of our data services, ensuring alignment with current and future needs.
Your Role
In this role, you will collaborate with partners on data-driven projects that generate business value. You will foster strong relationships with divisional management and business and IT stakeholders worldwide, serving as a single point of contact.
You will oversee three teams consisting of Data Platform Architects, a PowerBI competence center, and a Data Project office. Your responsibilities will include managing external suppliers, leading consultants/suppliers to deliver qualitative results within set deadlines, and overseeing the intake and delivery of complex data processes/platform migrations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of platform architecture to become future-proof.
* Detect and implement automation opportunities, translating them into operational 'services' and ensuring data sources availability.
Team Responsibilities:
* Platform and Architecture: Develop platform architecture to become future-proof. Detect automation opportunities and implement them accordingly. Translate into operational 'services'. Ensure data sources availability.
* PowerBI Competence Center: Intake and delivery of PowerBI reporting. Manage existing reports. Lead consultants/suppliers to deliver qualitative results within set deadlines.
* Data Project Office: Intake and delivery of complex data processes/platform migrations. Ongoing communication and project governance/delivery.
To Succeed:
* Hold 5+ years of management experience in a large enterprise environment.
* Hold a university master's degree in computer science or commercial engineering or rely on relevant job experience.
* Have experience with data technologies/methodologies for data exposure/storage/transformation in the context of data science/business analytics/business intelligence.
* Be willing to travel up to 20% of your time.
* Be fluent in English as it is our internal language.
