Our client, a leader in the automotive sector, is seeking a Credit Analyst to join and strengthen their dynamic team. As a Credit Analyst, you will have a pivotal role in evaluating the creditworthiness of clients within the automotive industry. Your main objective will be to assess and analyze financial information to determine the level of risk associated with customers. Collaborating closely with the sales and finance teams, you will ensure effective credit management practices are in place and work towards minimizing potential credit losses. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of credit risk by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and relevant data. Evaluate the credit history, financial ratios and industry trends to determine the creditworthiness of customers. Make informed credit decisions based on established policies and guidelines. Collaborate closely with the sales teams to understand customer credit requirements and negotiate credit terms as necessary. Monitor and manage credit exposure by regularly reviewing and updating credit limits for existing customers. Perform periodic credit reviews to identify potential risks or opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and credit reporting agencies. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit analysis. Profile: You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics or any financial related field. You are customer minded and have good communication skills. You speak Dutch and have a good command of French and English. You need to have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
