AsProject Management Office Manager at Sarens Group, you understand and capture our Talent Acquisition needs by keeping close contact with our HR Business Partners and HR Managers globally. You advise and assist local business units to attract top talent key-positions and ensure their mobility across Sarens Group's various Business Units.

The Sarens Group is looking for a driven Group PMO Manager to establish and lead a Project Management Office that oversees strategic, cross-functional initiatives and actively manages a selection of them. You will report directly to the Group Strategy Manager and collaborate closely with the CEO and other C-level executives across departments in a truly international business environment.
Your job as a Group PMO Manager in a nutshell:
1. PMO portfolio management
Set up and manage the Group PMO structure, tools, and governance;
Oversee the PMO project portfolio and manage interdependencies across departments and business units;
Connect and collaborate with IT, digital, and functional stakeholders to align cross-functional projects;
Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications;
Provide tailored support to Project Managers through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring structure and accountability;
Lead Steering Committee meetings with the CEO, Group Strategy Manager, and C-level stakeholders;
Build strong ties with global stakeholders including regional directors, country managers, and finance teams;
Continuously improve project methodologies, reporting structures, and workflows.
Active project management
Take ownership of selected strategic projects and drive them forward with a hands-on and structured approach;
Ensure timely execution by aligning stakeholders, managing timelines, and holding teams accountable for deliverables.
2. Functional strategy
Support department heads in shaping their functional strategies and translating them into concrete action plans;
Help prepare for Corporate Management Meetings by reviewing and challenging content, highlighting cross-functional links, and proposing appropriate reporting frameworks.
3. C-level reporting and business analysis
Prepare impactful presentations and dashboards for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors;
Conduct strategic analyses (. capex investments, competitive positioning, operational efficiency, market trends);
Use BI tools, data insights, and structured reporting to support fact-based decision-making;
Leverage your understanding of IT environments, ERP systems (Nav, SAP, D365, in-house), integrations, and data flows to steer digital projects effectively.

You are an analytical and hands-on professional with a passion for structure and results. Your strong communication and coordination skills help you gain buy-in from stakeholders and steer them towards shared goals. You love turning strategic thinking into practical execution.
The profile requirements:
4. A relevant academic degree (. engineering, business economics, MBA) or equivalent experience;
5. Proven experience in a PMO or senior project management role;
6. PM certification (. PMP, Prince2) is a plus;
7. Familiarity with waterfall, lean, agile, or scrum methodologies;
8. Solid analytical and reporting skills – strong command of Excel and VBA;
9. Experience with project management and BI tools;
10. Affinity with IT systems, ERP environments, and digital transformation;
11. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills;
12. Fluent in English (other languages are a plus);
13. Interest in the heavy lifting/construction industry is an asset;
14. A no-nonsense, pragmatic, and results-driven mindset.
