General description As a Project Manager WaaS (“PM WaaS”), you initiate, execute, and complete projects across various industries using your project management expertise. You have diverse skill sets that allow you to approach each assignment in a unique and strategic way. Most importantly, you understand how to leverage your project management skills to foster both Customer (Industry) and I-care’s ability to learn, succeed, and evolve with a project. Essentially, you oversee projects from start to finish. You supervise tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure that every aspect of the project is completed on time. You are able to foresee potential blockers and find proper solutions to mitigate or eliminate them so that they don’t impede a project’s success. Skills As a qualified and experienced project manager in the industry, you are aptly skilled in the following areas: 1. Engineering project in industry You have proven experience in project management on industrial site in a technical field (maintenance, engineering, production) You are familiar with the notions of safety in industry (work permits, individual and collective protection, lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures, factory and site acceptance tests and reports, ) 2. Leadership and Effective Communication You effectively lead and communicate with both Customer and I-care teams as well as stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. 3. Organization and Time Management You handle the organization and delegation of tasks. You also ensure that all project materials and deliverables are completed on time. 4. Creative Problem Solving and Adaptability You understand how to resolve issues and adapt your projects creatively to avoid mishaps and losses. 5. Motivation and Team Management You ensure the stakeholders and team members stay motivated throughout a project’s lifecycle. Moreover, you are able to manage a team to ensure top-quality results and on-time completion of project deliverables. Role The core responsibilities of a PM WaaS includes to safely & compliantly perform any task necessary to successfully complete the project (phase 2, see below), including but not limited to : Identifying project goals, needs, and scope Following each steps of the process defined Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and documenting tasks throughout a project Ensuring all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly Project initiation Asset walk down on site Network mapping (by the remote team) Project preparation Installation preparation Installation kick-off meeting Installation (by the installation team) Project scheduling & ordering (human and material resources) Progress follow-up and coordination with all stakeholders Triggering the invoicing pro forma Project handover - Contract kickoff Managing all resources necessary for project execution including the understanding of the typical I-care human resources hard skills and other parameters Fostering effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status Foreseeing and strategically eliminating blockers and potential risks Documenting each step of the process using various project management tools Ensuring top-quality results and success for a project These core responsibilities are pillars of project management at I-care.
