Team description
Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:
1. Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models .
2. Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners.
Electronics Engineering Design Division is responsible for the design & installation of Body Electronics parts (Instrument cluster, switches, …) and Multimedia parts (Radio, speakers, …) for European vehicles from concept phase to serial production.
Your responsibilities
3. Design and develop parts in order to achieve performance, quality and cost targets
4. Investigate style feasibility and co-operate with Styling department in order to secure feasibility
5. Creation and maintenance of hardware, software, mechanical and electrical part specifications
6. Creation of 3D CAD model, installation and production drawing
7. Co-operate with suppliers and Toyota stakeholders to secure production feasibility of parts
8. Secure regulation compliance and collaborate with Homologation department
9. Support plant production and quality engineers to solve the concerns raised during production trials or mass production
10. Benchmark competitors’ products & propose ideas for product and cost improvement

11. You are fluent in English (TME business language)
12. You have a master in Mechatronics
13. You have good people (soft) skills and can comfortably discuss / negotiate with other stakeholders internally and externally
14. You have experience in development of Mechatronics parts
15. You have experience with following tools:CAD system such as Catia (Design and simulation)Design FMEAModelization-simulation tool such as MatlabProgramming language such as PythonCAN Bus simulation tool such as CANoe
16. You have min 1 experience in industrial engineering department in the automotive sector or in an industrial mass production environment
17. You are able to travel for business on regular basis
