PPC Belgium, based in Brussels, a subsidiary company of PPC is looking for a Stakeholder Relations & Communications Officer to strengthen the EU Affairs team.
Role overview
The Stakeholder Relations & Communications Officer supports the implementation of the organisation’s stakeholder engagement strategy at EU level. The role combines stakeholder management, event coordination, and communications support, contributing to the organisation’s visibility and positioning towards EU institutions and key external partners.
The position works closely with the EU Policy team and acts as a coordination point with the Communications team at headquarters.
Key responsibilities
Stakeholder relations support
* Support the mapping and monitoring of key stakeholders across EU institutions, industry associations, and relevant organisations
* Assist in preparing stakeholder meetings, including briefings, background notes, and follow-up actions
* Maintain and update stakeholder databases and engagement trackers
* Monitor relevant policy and stakeholder developments to inform engagement priorities
Event coordination
* Support the organisation and execution of events in Brussels (roundtables, conferences, bilateral meetings)
* Coordinate logistics, invitations, and participant management
* Liaise with external partners and event organisers
* Assist in preparing speaking materials, agendas, and event reports
Communications and social media
* Support the development of social media content aligned with EU Affairs priorities
* Draft and coordinate posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, ensuring consistency with corporate messaging
* Contribute to the preparation of communication materials linked to events and policy initiatives
Internal coordination
* Act as a liaison between the EU Affairs team and the Communications team at headquarters
* Ensure alignment of messaging across Brussels activities and corporate communication
* Support internal reporting on stakeholder engagement and events
Profile
* A Master's degree in EU Studies, Political Science, Communications, Economics, or related fields
* 1–3 years of relevant experience in EU affairs, public affairs or communications
* Good understanding of EU institutions and policy-making processes
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Additional EU languages are an asset; Greek will be considered a plus.
* Proactive and detail-oriented
* Nice to have previous experience with event organisation in a policy or corporate setting and exposure to the energy sector
