Job DescriptionThe project engineer supports the foreign departments and is responsible for the projects assigned to him/her. The responsibility includes the development of cost prices, designs and optimal warehouse arrangements. He/She also acts as a liaison between the Senior Project Engineer, Stow subsidiaries and Work Preparation.Tasks and responsibilities Warehouse lay outing to optimum capacity/cost price and according to product specificationsStability calculations according to the current safety and stability standards, valid for the country concerned (assisted by Senior Project or Static Engineer)Calculates the composition of components and calculates a correct quotation price on that basis. A complete technical description must also be preparedIn consultation with your manager, you determine the priorities for files in order to meet the deadlines for drawing up quotations in the departmentHe/She keeps himself up to date with the evolution of the market in terms of products and customer requirementsCommunication with suppliers is limited to the technical concept. Price discussions take place via the purchasing departmentTechnical support to sales in terms of technical presentation of the project Qualifications Profile Master or Bachelor in Engineering (direction electromechanics, industrial design )Good knowledge of Dutch & English.
