We are looking for a highly driven and proactive
Business Development Manager, Channel Partnership
to join and contribute to our high‑performing Global Channel Partnership/Modernization team within the Commercial & Operations unit.
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in turning our partnership strategy into tangible commercial outcomes by driving partner selection, onboarding, early project success, and initial revenue generation in close alignment with Front Line and regional teams.
In this role you will identify and onboard channel partners in priority markets, support their early commercial activities, ensure smooth execution together with internal teams, and drive continuous improvement through structured feedback and KPI follow‑up, working closely with C&O functions, Areas, and Frontlines.
This role reports to the Modernization, Head of Global Channel Partnership. The location of the position is flexible one of KONE main Frontline offices in Europe.
Responsibilities and key activities:
1. Identify, evaluate, and support selection of Channel Partners in priority markets.
2. Drive partner onboarding from NDA to first order in close collaboration with regions and Front Line.
3. Support partners during first commercial projects to secure early wins and references.
4. Define and communicate commercial rules, value proposition, and partnership model to partners.
5. Coordinate with Engineering & E2E Process colleagues to ensure smooth execution.
6. Collect structured feedback from partners and regions to refine the partnership model.
7. KPIs follow up with Partners and Areas to ensure growth.
8. Contribute to the development of partner playbooks, pitch materials, and success stories.

We expect you to have:
9. Strong background in business development, sales, or partnerships
10. Experience working with external partners or distributors
11. Good understanding of modernization or technical B2B solutions
12. Ability to navigate matrix organizations and align with regions
13. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
14. BSc or MSc in a relevant subject
15. Ability to drive things independently and can-do attitude
16. Demonstrated capabilities to deliver successfully in international context
17. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in other languages seen as a potential asset.
