Job Description
The Cloud Solution Architect will play a key role in building scalable, reusable, and secure cloud-based data and AI solutions, aligned with both organizational goals and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
The architecture should enhance speed of development and value delivery, maintaining the principles of security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
The Cloud Solution Architect will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, especially IT architects and cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration with the existing ecosystem.
Capturing both functional and non-functional requirements, such as performance, scalability, and compliance, and incorporating them into the overall design of the solution.
Focusing on delivering solutions that meet business objectives while ensuring the system's operational qualities are maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification through professional experience, showing a strong foundation in technical principles.
They should also have at least 10 years of professional experience working on data and more than 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture on AWS.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification is a baseline requirement, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional is highly recommended.
Additional certifications, such as in AI, machine learning, data engineering, or security, would be preferable.
Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform, DevSecOps principles, cloud security concepts, Microservice Architecture and Serverless Architecture are required.
A solid understanding of network protocols, load balancing, gateways, global traffic management, and authentication mechanisms is necessary to ensure efficient and secure system operations.
Fluency in English is essential for communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
