The ESN Group in the European Parliament is looking for a Graphic designer to support its work in the Group's Central Secretariat.

2. JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be assisting the Group's Press Team by the following non exhaustive list of activities:
· Planning and production of social media content, including sharepics, carousels, stories, reels/shorts, headers, thumbnails, graphic tiles, and platform-specific adaptations for X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
· Preparation of posts for publication and coordination of scheduling with relevant teams.
· Writing political copies in excellent language.
· Designing flyers, brochures, posters, and roll-ups – including layout, preflight checks, CMYK preparation, bleed, and coordination with printers through to final production.
· Providing support to the press team with video productions as needed – filming with DSLR/DSLM cameras, managing audio and lighting, and editing in Premiere Pro.
· Newsletter management: layout, image selection, linking, publishing, and quality control.
· Other position-related tasks.
3. CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION
* Completed vocational training as a Media Designer for Digital and Print or holding a degree in Graphic/Communication Design, or an equivalent qualification.
* Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro; using Premiere Pro and After Effects confidently for editing, subtitling, and motion graphics.
* Familiarity with social media networks and common AI tools.
* Excellent written and spoken German and English language knowledge required.
* Basic command of French language.
* Excellent knowledge of EU institutions, their decision-making processes, and external relations instruments.
* Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural political environment with tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
Under article 82, (3) of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants (CEOS) of the European Communities, candidates must:
· be citizen of an EU Member State unless an exception is authorised by the authority referred to in article 6 (1);
· enjoy full rights as citizen;
· have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the laws concerning military service;
· meet the character requirements for the duties involved.
