HVAC Technician – Electrical & Controls

As a versatile Electromechanical HVAC Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of essential installations at one of Belgium’s leading university hospitals in Liège. You will work hands-on with a wide range of equipment in a technically stimulating environment—where your skills truly make a difference for patients, staff, and visitors.
Your Mission
You will be based on site at the CHU in Liège.
What you will do
* Perform routine maintenance on electrical installations, including control and distribution panels.
* Maintain HVAC systems: air handling units, fan coil units, pumps, and more.
* Carry out technical rounds and inspections in plant rooms.
* Analyse technical faults and propose effective solutions.
* Detect and resolve electrical faults in HVAC systems and control panels.
* Undertake minor electrical and HVAC adjustments or repairs.
* Replace defective components and ensure all systems run optimally.
* Work in a day team and participate in interventions outside regular hours, including weekends.
* Join the on-call duty roster once you have achieved autonomy in the role.
Your Profile
* Minimum 3 years of experience in electromechanics.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems.
* Analytical skills to diagnose technical issues and deliver solutions.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Service-minded with a client-focused approach.
* Eagerness to learn and develop your skills further.
* Proficient in French.
