Data Integration Engineer (Asset Data)
Energy Industry | Belgium | Hybrid (2 days onsite)
We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer / Integration Layer Developer to join a dynamic product team operating within the energy transmission sector. You will contribute to the evolution of critical IT systems supporting asset data in a fast-moving and innovative environment.

Your Responsibilities
* Design and implement robust data integration solutions
* Develop and maintain data management capabilities (data quality, master data management, etc.)
* Align business and technical architecture with functional and non-functional requirements
* Contribute to continuous integration, automated testing, and build platforms
* Provide technical expertise across the data platform (queue managers, distributed cache, audit & monitoring tools, Open Data solutions)
* Support documentation improvements and knowledge sharing
* Deliver 2nd and 3rd line production support
* Collaborate closely within an agile product team and contribute to chapter maturity
Your Profile
Technical Skills
* 3+ years of experience with .NET / Microsoft technologies
* Strong experience with integration frameworks
* Experience with scheduler frameworks
* 3+ years with audit & trace frameworks and monitoring tools
* Solid knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, Flat Files, GraphQL
* Practical experience with messaging and/or event streaming solutions
* Understanding of distributed architecture patterns (synchronous & asynchronous)
* Experience with distributed cache concepts
* Experience building data integration layers
* Automated unit and integration testing
* Continuous Integration (CI) development
* Comfortable working in mixed Windows/Unix environments
* Experience in a data-centric product organization
* Professional English required; Dutch and/or French required
Experience within the asset domain or transmission/energy sector is a strong plus.
