We’re looking for an experienced IGA / IAM Consultant (Freelancer) to join a growing identity consultancy delivering enterprise-level identity programmes across Belgium.
This role focuses on shaping and defining Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions from a business perspective, rather than purely technical delivery.

* Location: Belgium (Hybrid – initial 2x-day-a-week on-site presence required)

Core Responsibilities
* Lead “as-is” and “to-be” workshops to analyse and redesign identity and access processes
* Engage with business stakeholders to understand organisational structures, operating models, and key drivers (e.g. compliance, efficiency, cost)
* Define identity lifecycle processes, including Joiner / Mover / Leaver flows and access governance models
* Translate business requirements into clear functional designs for technical delivery teams
* Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding decisions and challenging requirements where needed
* Identify quick wins and help shape the early stages of IGA programmes
* Support the design of scalable identity governance frameworks across complex environments
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with best practices and tool capabilities
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong background in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) or IAM
* Proven experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and access governance
* Experience with Omada (or willingness to learn)
* Ability to translate business needs into structured, scalable identity solutions
* Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
* Experience working in complex, enterprise environments
* Fluent English required (Dutch preferred)
Nice to Have
* Background with other IGA tools such as SailPoint
* Exposure to energy, retail, or media sector projects
* Certifications such as CISP, ISO 27001, or relevant IGA certifications
* Experience in SaaS-driven identity environments
