Role Overview
Medical Representative
The Medical Representative is responsible for managing a designated territory and driving the promotion of the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio. This role centers on building meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs)—including general practitioners, specialists, and pharmacists—to support product awareness and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote the company’s portfolio through regular visits and tailored engagement with HCPs
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, specialists, and pharmacists
Analyze business performance and market trends to inform strategic decisions
Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to achieve sales targets
Share relevant market insights with internal teams to support broader business objectives
Act as a trusted medical partner and brand ambassador
Lead the planning and execution of educational and scientific events for HCPs
Medical Representative Lead
The Hybrid Representative Lead plays a strategic role in achieving sales and market share objectives within a defined territory. This role involves both direct and indirect leadership, with a focus on product promotion, team development, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to promote selected products to physicians, specialists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Drive sales performance and market share growth across the territory
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to build and support a high-performing sales team through coaching and training
Assist the Regional Sales Manager in managing and executing regional projects and initiatives
Ensure consistent, high-quality customer engagement and team alignment
Essential requirements for these roles are:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Fluent in Dutch and English
Good understanding of Gx market & - dynamics
Good coaching skills
Minimum of business acumen
Negotiation skills
Soft skills: growth mindset
