Human Resources Business Partner BENELUX
Member of the Benelux Management Team
to structure, align and elevate its regional Human Resources (HR) function during a moment of ambitious transformation.
Your Role?
Portakabin is looking for an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner BENELUX to lead the HR agenda across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This new role will be responsible for the harmonisation of HR practices, supporting cultural integration, and thus supporting the company ́s growth strategy in the region.
Your Key Responsibilities?
• Act as a strategic partner to the European Head of HR (primary reporting line) and the Managing Director BENELUX.
• Lead the transformation and harmonisation of HR in the region and provide guidance on labour law, payroll, and employee relations.
• Manage and develop the HR Manager based in the Netherlands to ensure operational excellence and alignment with HR strategy.
• Coach and support managers across three countries in talent development, performance management, and change leadership.
• Ensure effective collaboration between Belgian and Dutch teams, promoting a shared culture and cross-border cooperation.
• Represent HR in local and regional governance bodies, including management committees and employee representative groups.
Who Is Portakabin Looking For?
A trilingual HR generalist (FR/NL/EN) with strong interpersonal and coaching skills, and a strong business mindset and eagerness to drive transformation.
• Higher education in HR, Law, Psychology, Labour Sciences, or equivalent through relevant professional experience..
• Around 8 years of HR experience, ideally in an international or matrixed organization.
• Strong command of Belgian labour law; knowledge of Dutch HR practices is a plus.
• Proven track record in supporting change and structuring HR.
• Experience in HR, performance frameworks, and fostering a learning culture.
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites in Belgium and the Netherlands.
