Profile:
* You speak Dutch and are fluent in English, with a good working knowledge of French
* You ideally have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in employment law
* You hold a Belgian law degree with strong academic results
* You have excellent legal reasoning skills, a creative mindset and the ability to take initiative
* You are recognized for your accuracy, rigor, and effective communication skills
* You are available, responsive, and enjoy working collaboratively as a team player.
Main responsibilities:
* Advise international and national companies in several areas of employment law, focusing on collective and individual employment law
* Cooperate with the various foreign CMS law firms and the different CMS Belgium departments, to experience the multi-jurisdictional and multidisciplinary approach of cases
* Take ownership of your cases from day one with a satisfying balance of independence and partner’s guidance
* Assist to client meetings and calls, ensuring a high level of client service and building trusted relationships
* Represent clients in court, with opportunities to gain hands-on pleading experience.
