Your role and responsibilities
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering financial insights that enable effective decisions across our Marketing, Sales, and Service functions.l analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial outcomes. This position supports the Electrification Smart Power and Smart Building divisions in Belgium and Luxembourg, with additional collaboration with the Netherlands Local Marketing and Sales teams. Your key stakeholders will include local marketing and sales leaders, as well as finance and controlling colleagues. You will be mainly accountable for: •Analyzing business performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances, and proposing improvement actions. •Benchmarking key performance indicators against industry peers and internal ABB sites. •Developing financial models to evaluate business scenarios, with a focus on sales and service profitability. •Validating the accuracy of financial data through reconciliations and exception reviews. •Preparing and presenting reports, dashboards, and insights to management to support strategic decision-making. You will report to the Electrification Lead Controller for Belgium and Luxembourg and be part of a flexible, forward-thinking team.rid.
Qualifications for the role
* Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role, ideally in a multinational or matrixed environment.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Every Angle.
* Skilled in meeting tight reporting deadlines and coordinating multiple priorities.
* Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to process improvement.
* Effective at conveying ideas and connecting with stakeholders from various levels of the organization.
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
* Fluent in English, French, and Flemish.
