Our client is one of Europe’s most established educational publishers, supporting learners and educators across five countries. But they’re not staying still. They’re investing in smart, scalable tools that personalise learning, support teachers, and rethink what great educational products can be.
This role isn’t just about refining user flows. It’s about shaping how future generations learn, grow and explore knowledge. If you’ve ever wondered how your design skills could lead to real-world impact, this is it.
The role:
We’re looking for a UX Designer to design for their LX platform, a system that powers how educational content is created, shared, and improved. This is a complex, high-impact space, used by both content teams and educators themselves. It’s technical, yes. But the challenge is deeply human.
We’re not looking for someone to wait for a backlog item to drop. We want someone who sees problems before they’re named, someone who thinks in terms of outcomes, not outputs. A designer who’s as comfortable sketching wireframes as they are shaping ideas with product managers. Someone who works fast when it matters, but always knows why.
What you’ll do:
* Turn complexity into clarity. Design clean, purposeful experiences for a CMS that supports both learning content creators and educators.
* Facilitate design discussions and help shape the future of the platform, not just its screens.
* Partner deeply with product, tech, and data teams to shape product direction and define user impact.
* Bring insight into every decision by planning and executing user research, testing your designs early and often.
* Test early, iterate often, and value learning over perfection.
* Make decisions that reflect both short-term needs and long-term impact for users, for the team, and for the product itself.
* Mentor peers, lead by example, and help raise the bar for design quality across the team.
What we’re looking for:
* Figma fluency and the ability to bring ideas to life fast.
* Experience with complex systems: ideally CMS, content architecture, or multi-role platforms.
* Deep user research skills: knowing when to ask, when to observe, and when to test.
* Clear, direct communicator, comfortable with feedback, both giving and receiving.
* You understand content modelling, versioning, and the challenges of collaborative editing (or are excited to learn).
* You’re comfortable in ambiguity, curious about new methods, and willing to challenge assumptions (including your own).
* You communicate well in English and Dutch.
* If you’ve worked in education or publishing before, great. If not, your empathy and adaptability matter more.
What you’ll get:
* A permanent position with a forward-thinking organisation.
* Attractive salary package with extra-legal benefits including flexible hours, home working options, and a company car.
* A full-time, remote-first role, with European hub offices for in-person moments, with a Hub in Antwerp there is a preference if you're around the area.
* A team that listens, values your voice, and wants you to lead where you’re strongest.
* Chances to shape the future of learning, not just support it.
* Monthly UX meetups and an annual gathering to recharge and reconnect.
* Time and space to do your best work, without endless meetings or process for process’s sake.
If you are excited about the opportunity to grow your career and make a difference, we encourage you to apply for this amazing job. Don't miss out on the chance to join a top-notch team and be a part of something special. Get started by sending your CV!
