Kyte is a lightweight, user-friendly SaaS-based invoicing tool designed for freelancers, sole traders, and small businesses. It enables users to create and send professional e-invoices in seconds, fully compliant with digital invoicing regulations.
About the Role
As a Medior Product Owner, you will support the continued growth and evolution of the Kyte product by owning a well‑defined functional scope. You will work closely with a Product Manager, engineering teams, and stakeholders to translate product vision into clear, actionable backlog items. This role is ideal for a Product Owner who is comfortable operating in a product team, eager to deepen their product skills, and ready to grow towards broader ownership over time.
Responsibilities:
1. Own and manage a clearly defined segment of the Kyte product backlog, ensuring it is structured, prioritized, and consistently ready for development;
2. Translate product vision and roadmap input from the Product Manager into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for the development team;
3. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and QA to clarify requirements and facilitate efficient planning, implementation, and validation of product features;
4. Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to support the product team's workflow;
5. Balance the development of new features with incremental improvements and enhancements within your scope of ownership;
6. Engage with internal stakeholders to gather input, validate requirements, communicate progress, and maintain up-to-date documentation;
7. Support go-live activities by coordinating releases, documentation, and internal communication for projects within your scope;
8. Monitor feature adoption and collect user feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and learning to inform future backlog priorities.
Skills:
9. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Technology;
10. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
11. Proficient in English;
12. Requirements Analysis: Able to understand and structure customer and stakeholder needs and challenges;
13. Solution-Oriented: Creative and pragmatic problem solver;
14. UX/UI Design: Basic knowledge of design principles and user experience is advantageous;
15. Project Management: Capable of effectively managing tasks, timelines, and project milestones;
16. Data Analysis: Experienced in interpreting data to support informed decision-making;
17. Communication: Skilled in conveying both technical and business requirements and constraints clearly.
