The Logistics Operations Specialist will provide operational support to ensure the smooth execution of logistics activities for the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Tessenderlo, Belgium. This role focuses on operational tasks, data analysis, and compliance to support daily operations in line with the company’s strategic objectives defined by HQ leadership.
Your responsibilities include :
1. Support inbound, storage, picking, VAS, packing, palletizing, and outbound shipments.
2. Assist with inventory management, stock counts, and resolving discrepancies.
3. Analyze operational performance (KPIs, costs, service levels).
4. Provide regular updates and insights to the Logistics Manager.
5. Maintain accurate customs, inventory, and logistics documentation.
6. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
7. Work with the Logistics Manager, 3PL providers, and other stakeholders.
8. Coordinate with HQ teams for data alignment and compliance.
9. Support logistics systems and tools.
10. Identify and contribute to process improvements.
11. Assist in implementing changes in logistics processes and systems.
About you :
12. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
13. 1–3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain environment (internships or entry-level roles also considered).
14. Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
15. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards).
16. Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is required.
17. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
18. Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement and growth mindset.
19. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
20. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
