We are looking for a Customer Data Analyst to join the Customer Analysis team within a leading banking environment. In this role, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and data, transforming customer-related questions into actionable, data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.

You will combine strong analytical expertise with business understanding to deliver meaningful recommendations that improve customer engagement and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, transform, and analyse complex raw data from multiple sources
• Translate business needs into clear analytical hypotheses
• Perform advanced data analysis to answer customer and business questions
• Identify key variables, data structures, and relevant datasets
• Deliver actionable insights that support customer strategy and business decisions
• Build clear and compelling PowerPoint presentations summarising findings and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in a dynamic, cross-functional environment

Required skills & experience

• Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics within a business context
• Strong expertise in: SQL, Python, SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG) & Power BI
• Ability to design and execute ad hoc queries and reporting solutions independently
• Strong understanding of banking and insurance products
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business stories
• Strong team player with influencing skills
• Experience with GitLab or similar version control tools is an asset
