Responsibilities
Conduct consultative engagements with clients as a lead consultant or team member to deliver assessment services in security architecture and governance domains.
* Evaluate the client’s current security architecture
* Identify current weaknesses and improvement points
* Compare different possible architecture scenarios
* Coordinate implementation and corrective efforts to ensure end‑to‑end coherency of the technical solution together with global/local delivery teams
* Ensure hand‑over of engagement information and opportunities to internal stakeholders
* Develop standard consultative engagement templates in response to recurring client needs and raise internal awareness of such engagements
* Perform business development and presales work for opportunities within your domain
* Act as mentor for less experienced consultants or architects
* Participate in presales phase to create complex security solutions focusing on service, application and infrastructure components, guaranteeing global coherency of proposed solutions
* Act as trusted advisor in a long‑term relationship with clients, understanding their business strategy, policies, processes, services and roadmap and mapping these to information system security frameworks and technology architectures
* Help clients execute on their security governance roadmap by coordinating design and implementation efforts with a pragmatic and actionable approach
* Collaborate with Transformation Consultants and the client’s CISO or security manager to deliver strategic advice for improvement
* Collaborate with program manager and centres of excellence to deliver state‑of‑the‑art services and guarantee long‑term client relationship
* Work proactively with sales team to look for additional opportunities
Qualifications
* Bachelor in ICT at minimum (Master strongly preferred)
* Relevant certifications or proven knowledge in IT security area (CISSP, CISM, CISA, …)
* Strong experience in designing, deploying, and supporting large security deployments
* In‑depth knowledge of current security offerings (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo‑Alto, Checkpoint, …)
* In‑depth understanding of security components (IAM, SASE, SSE, NAC, VPN, PAM, cloud security, cloud‑delivered security, …) and security models (segmentation, zero‑trust, …) in hybrid and heterogeneous environments
* Understanding of security control frameworks (ISO270x, NIST, CIS, …), directives (NIS2, DORA, GDPR, …) and risk‑management processes
* At least 5 years’ experience in architecture and consulting functions
* French or Dutch as mother tongue and good verbal and written knowledge of the other language and English
* Emotional and stress resilience and ability to autonomously achieve challenging goals
* Clear and persuasive communication and ability to interact with various stakeholders in a consultative engagement
* Balanced business and technology savvy with strong understanding of applications, services and infrastructure
* Analytical thinking and excellent problem‑solving ability with appreciation for rigor and objectivity
* Strong personal initiative and sense of innovation to identify efficient and competitive solutions to clients’ needs and new types of engagements
* Work flexibility and willingness to travel if needed
* Strong ability to work as part of a team and drive or lead such teams where opportune
* Eligible and prepared to obtain NATO clearance if necessary
