SilverBack is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (Mechanical or Electrical) to lead large-scale, technically complex construction projects for a major international client for a Data Centre Project based in Mons, Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall management of site safety, QA, programme, and daily operations
* Control and reporting of project costs (labour, materials, plant & equipment)
* Lead subcontractor performance, progress tracking, and coordination meetings
* Drive safety, quality, and engineering standards across the project
* Manage snagging, reporting, documentation, and project close-out activities
* Liaise closely with the project team, client, and stakeholders
* Ensure all safety, QA, and subcontractor documentation is maintained and compliant
Essential Requirements
* 5+ years as Senior Construction Manager or 10+ years as Construction Manager
* Data Centre experience
* 10–15 years' experience on large-scale technical or industrial projects
* Strong background in design & build environments
* In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety, and Quality compliance
* Solid understanding of Civil, Structural, Architectural, M&E systems
* Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver projects to tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Highly proficient in English
* EU passport or Belgium Residency Permit
