Position Summary
Part of the Louvain-la-Neuve procurement team, you will manage procurement master data and will support the site procurement team on specific procurement categories & initiatives as required.
Position Responsibilities
About the Role:
As part of the LLN Procurement team, you will manage the site’s Direct Spend categories and can contribute to Global Initiatives. You will work closely with different teams across the company to help drive key projects and improvements.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead cost reduction initiative
• Coordinate projects to qualify new suppliers and materials
• Support the timely delivery of parts and materials, ensuring they meet standards (Quality, Cost and OTIF)
• Oversee and enhance our supplier partnership
• Maintain accurate procurement data and master records
Our team focuses on making processes simpler and better through standardization and continuous improvement. You’ll also work alongside Supply Chain colleagues who handle purchase orders and follow-ups based on manufacturing plans.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage procurement information in SAP and other internal databases, including supplier details, pricing, delivery times, and product specifications
2. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support project execution that impacts the site
3. Source new products and support internal stakeholder for qualification
4. Gathers and analyzes statistical data to assess the feasibility of purchasing materials and identify opportunities for cost savings
5. Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and competitive bids, review supplier proposals, and negotiate prices and terms
6. Work closely with suppliers and internal customers to resolve any quality, process, or supply issues
7. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policies and procedures

8. Demonstrated ability to work collectively with procurement team, other enabling functions, and other manufacturing.
9. Serves as the external liaison to suppliers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Indicate the formal education, certification or license required and/or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position (where legally permissible).
10. Master’s degree in business or sciences
11. A 2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain
12. A good understanding of the Manufacturing environment
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable.
13. Business English
14. Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
15. Able to work effectively on a fast-paced team in a professional environment
16. Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
17. Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
18. Experienced in data analysis using Excel strongly preferred
19. Good SAP Procurement system experience strongly preferred
