ACENSI is looking for a Solution Architect for one of their clients based in Brussels in the Energy Sector :
Context
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a strategic programme within a leading organisation in the Belgian energy sector. In this role, you will assess and challenge proposed solutions, design clear and robust architectures, and build small-scale Proof-of-Concepts to validate technology choices. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a rapidly evolving and highly regulated market.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Design
Evaluate, challenge and validate solution proposals across various teams.
Design and document functional and technical architectures aligned with industry best practices.
Develop small PoCs to test the feasibility of selected technologies and approaches.
Produce high-quality models and diagrams using ArchiMate, UML, TOGAF or equivalent frameworks.
Create clear, structured documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Use Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA) for modelling activities.
Apply your knowledge of the Belgian energy market rules and processes.
Work with the UMIG 6 and UMIG DGO processes that govern data exchange between market participants.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with technical teams, business owners and cross-functional stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and contribute to architectural governance activities.
Communicate complex information in a clear and structured way.
Required Profile
Must Have
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
Strong experience with modelling techniques: ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML, Sparx EA.
Solid understanding and practical application of architectural patterns.
Proven experience in the Belgian energy market.
Knowledge of UMIG 6 and UMIG DGO processes.
Excellent communication skills (assessed during interview).
Very good command of English.
Fluency in French or Dutch (CEFR C1 level).
Should Have
Experience with cloud environments (preferably Azure).
Hands‑on experience with Enterprise Architect modelling tools.
