Do you have a background in Mechanics and are you looking for your first work experience? Or are you an experienced Mechanic? To strengthen our technical team in Tielt, we are looking for a Mechanic to work in a two‑shift system.
Your responsibilities
We are looking for a mechanically strong profile who ensures that our machines run efficiently, safely, and without interruption. You also provide technical support to the operators.
Your tasks will include:
* Replacing sensors
* Performing mechanical repairs such as replacing conveyor belts
* Replacing pneumatic components
* Installing and adjusting belts and chains
* Actively contributing ideas for improvements and optimizations
* Working closely with fellow technicians and the shift supervisor
* Working in a two‑shift system (early and late shift)
Qualifications
* A degree in Mechanics or equivalent through experience
* Good knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics
* You enjoy working independently
* You are fluent in Dutch
* Willingness to work in a two‑shift system
