IT Domain Architect Supply Chain (Planning)
Function:
Barco is seeking for a skilled and motivated IT Domain Architect Supply Chain (Planning) to join our SAP team. The IT Domain Architect is within the Supply Chain domain responsible to design the future state of the solution landscape based on experience and knowledge of the business and technology market context and in line with the enterprise architectural vision and roadmap.
We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of the Supply Chain domain - Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations - and an in-depth knowledge about the Supply Chain Planning.
The Supply Chain processes are within Barco mostly supported in a SAP environment - SAP S/4HANA, embedded EWM, SAP APO, SAP ME, …
After our move to SAP S/4HANA, we want to evolve to a fit2standard and clean core based on industry best practices. The IT domain architect plays a crucial role to safeguard this evolution.
Our Digital Transformation within the Supply Chain domain is ongoing with moving SAP APO and SAP ME to the new technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Design the future state of the solution landscape based on experience and knowledge of the business and technology market context and in line with the enterprise architectural vision and roadmap
2. capture and prioritize the business demands and requirements in your business domain
3. lead translation of the business requirements into solutions, while keeping the balance between architectural fit, long term viability and the possibility to stick to standard processes
4. Responsible for the end-to-end process within Supply Chain, across technologies/solutions
5. Drive the delivery of projects, releases and changes to make sure the business demands are delivered conform with the original approved business requirements
6. Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in upcoming releases
7. together with the business stakeholders, co-create the functional business cases for new projects and business solutions
Qualifications:
8. Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or specific to the Supply Chain domain or equivalent
Experience:
9. Deep understanding of business processes within Supply Chain
10. General knowledge about the different SAP modules linked to Supply Chain (SAP EWM, SAP LE, SAP PP, …)
11. In depth knowledge of the SAP modules linked to Supply Chain Planning (SAP APO, SAP IBP)
12. >5 years of relevant business experience
13. >5 years of relevant experience in ICT
