We are looking for a Data Engineer Team Lead for the data department to accelerate the data, AI and digital transformation of our client.
Keys Responsibilities
* Leadership and Team Enablement : provide leadership and guidance to the data engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
* Data Infrastructure Management : oversee the management and optimization of core data infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
* Project Implementation : support the implementation of large-scale Big Data projects, including the development and maintenance of data pipelines.
* Performance Optimization : support the data team with design and performance optimization, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval.
* Data Modeling : oversee the creation and manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models, adhering to internal standards and best practices.
* Stakeholder Management : collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
* Technical Expertise : utilize your expertise in SQL, big data, NoSQL technologies, and Python to drive technical excellence within the team.
* Software lifecycle Expertise : support team members to follow and improve our data product lifecycle.
* Target operating model : contribute with the other team leads of the department in the creation and implementation of the target operating model of the digital, data, AI and automation department.
* Agile Methodology : work within an Agile framework, contributing to the continuous delivery of high quality data solutions.
Expected Skills And Qualifications Of The Consultant
1. Cloud technologies, a certification will be a bonus. If the experience is on AWS it will be ideal.
2. Software development lifecycle.
3. SQL and Python.
4. Traditional ETL solutions.
5. Data Vault modeling as well as other data modelling techniques.
6. Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Soft skills that the profile should ideally have :
• Relevant experiences in leading, coaching and mentoring technical teams. At least 2 years of leading team is mandatory. 5 years or more will be ideal.
• Team work, problem solving mindset and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English (verbal & written).
