The RoleAs part of our continuous growth, ALTEN Belgium is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support large-scale offshore energy infrastructure projects in Belgium.You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team and support the delivery of AC offshore substations, focusing on the engineering and execution of mechanical systems. You will contribute to design review, testing, and construction support activities to ensure technical quality and project readiness.
Your ResponsibilitiesSupport the mechanical engineering scope for offshore substationsReview and validate technical documentationParticipate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)Provide engineering support to construction and installation teamsCoordinate with electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, quality, HSE, contracting, and PMO teams
Technical Scope (Mechanical Systems)Firefighting systemsHVAC systemsCranes and lifting equipmentWater and utility systems
Your ProfileMinimum 6 years of relevant experience in EPC or large industrial projectsExperience in the offshore sector is a strong assetDegree in Mechanical or Electromechanical EngineeringStrong communication and teamwork skillsStructured, independent, and precise working styleProactive mindset and fast learnerExcellent knowledge of MS Office
LanguagesEnglish: fluent professional level (required)Dutch: asset
