If so, you might be the Sales Controller we’re looking for. Join us at Danone in our Brussels, Belgium office and help drive the performance of our Specialized Nutrition business.
As Sales Controller, you will act as the key finance business partner for our Sales function within Specialized Nutrition Benelux. Working closely with commercial teams, you will help shape client‑level strategy, optimize return on investment for promotions and trade terms, and drive effective allocation of resources across channels, customers, and brands.
In this role, you will also lead selected process‑improvement initiatives and contribute to building a data‑driven controlling function.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Driving topline performance through insightful ad‑hoc analyses and recommendations, including:
2. Promotion ROI and pricing optimization
3. Trade terms management
4. Customer, Channels and Category P&L performance
5. Perform GPS forecasting and category trends analysis for SN Sales
6. Following up on pricing, sales discounts, trade terms, and rebates conditions
7. Leading month‑end closing and reporting activities
8. Providing transparency into growth drivers such as volume, mix and price effect across Net Sales and Operating Margin
9. Continuously improving controlling tools, dashboards, modelling logic, and reporting methodologies
10. Supporting the team in elevating the use of data through enhanced modelling, forecasting, and scenario‑building
About You
You are a seasoned finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to connect naturally with commercial stakeholders. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, using data to make impactful decisions and influence business outcomes. You communicate clearly, challenge confidently, and build strong professional relationships across functions.
To be successful, you have:
11. A Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or a related field
12. At least 3 years of experience in finance, preferably in sales/topline controlling
13. Experience in FMCG and/or Medical environments is a plus
14. Understanding of trade terms and commercial levers
15. Strong data‑modelling skills, with the ability to build, structure, and interpret financial models and scenario analyses
16. Excellent analytical capabilities and comfort working with large datasets
17. Fluency in English
