What you do

You will join the Apparel division, which specializes in high-quality protective clothing for a wide range of target groups. Your main goal is to promote a broad range of protective clothing (mainly industrial protective wear and SYNQ workwear, SIP forestry clothing, and firefighter intervention clothing) to distributors (primarily specialized retailers) and end-users in an industrial environment (existing customers and selected prospects). This will be carried out within a predefined geographic area (Belgium), with established sales targets and in accordance with Sioen’s sales strategy, aimed at stimulating further revenue growth for Sioen BeLux.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and further develop a distributor network, mainly in retail and specialized trade.

2. Manage projects for end-users from first contact to invoicing. You are responsible for internal project follow-up, from coordinating calculations and samples, through feedback to the customer, to converting it into an order, delivery, and invoicing. Continuous consultation with various departments within our organization is essential. Handling complaints is also part of your responsibilities.

3. Build excellent customer relationships, identify potential, and acquire new business by engaging with professional contacts at all levels.

4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies and respond to changes and trends in the sector.

5. Translate market needs into special products or new ideas for the standard range, supported by a technical team (Product Developers, Designers) and a back-office employee.

6. Report market information (competitor pricing and products, customer insights, etc.) and visit outcomes to the Sales Director. Actions are undertaken in consultation.

7. Regular visits with customers to the headquarters in Ardooie.

8. Co-organize and staff booths at national and international trade fairs and open days.

Who you are

You have a higher education (Bachelor’s/Master’s) and relevant sales experience in the sale of PPE and/or to specialized retailers.
You are highly sales-oriented and able to achieve maximum results through a structured project approach and passion for your product.
You can translate technical product features into commercial benefits for the customer.
You are willing to deepen your knowledge of textiles and the specific products.
You are communicative, diplomatic, and demonstrate the necessary persuasion skills and expertise.
You are creative, open-minded, solution-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
You have a good command of Dutch and French; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
