HQ Antwerp | Coverage: Europe (with potential EMEA expansion)| Business Development Manager| Energy, Oil & Gas About the Company Our client is an international technology organization with a strong footprint across Europe. The company designs and delivers advanced software and hardware solutions for complex industrial environments in the oil & gas industry, helping customers operate safely, efficiently and in full regulatory compliance. Your New Role As Business Development Manager, you are responsible for driving new business growth across Europe. You focus on opening new doors, building long-term commercial relationships and developing a sustainable opportunity pipeline within large, complex organizations. This is a pure new business role with a long-term perspective. You will work on strategic target accounts with lengthy investment cycles, where success depends on trust-building, market insight, and persistence rather than short-term wins. You work closely with the Sales Manager and internal technical teams and operate in a hybrid model combining office-based work, customer visits and international travel. Key Responsibilities Identify, approach and develop new customers and new opportunities across European markets Map target regions, industries and strategic accounts and define focused action plans Establish relationships with key decision-makers within complex organizations Build and manage a qualitative sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and follow-up Understand customer processes, strategic challenges and long-term investment roadmaps Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, demonstrations and commercial proposals Collaborate with internal engineering and solution teams to translate business needs into technical solutions Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events and conferences Maintain structured reporting and pipeline management through CRM tools Contribute to long-term growth strategy, forecasting and market development initiatives Your Profile At least 3 years of experience in Business Development within a technical or industrial environment Educational background in engineering, industrial technology or IT, or equivalent technical-commercial experience Experience or affinity with industries such as energy, process industry, industrial systems or infrastructure is a plus Demonstrated ability to generate new business, open new accounts and build relationships from the ground up Strong hunter mentality with resilience and confidence in approaching senior stakeholders Comfortable operating in environments with long sales cycles and high-value investment projects Strong communication and presentation skills at executive and technical levels Languages: English and Dutch are mandatory; additional European languages (German or French) German is a plus Willingness to travel regularly (short, project-based trips) What's in It for You Competitive gross monthly salary (indicative range €5,000 – €6,500, depending on experience) Annual performance-based bonus, with a first-year focus on pipeline development Company car with fuel card Meal vouchers Group and hospitalization insurance Laptop and mobile phone Flexible hybrid working model 32 days of leave (20 legal 12 ADV) Thorough onboarding and in-depth training on solutions, systems and business processes Interested?Are you interested in this Business Development Manager position?
