We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Python) based in Ghent to join a fast-growing, AI-driven platform transforming how multi-location brands manage customer feedback. You’ll work closely with a small, high-impact team, helping shape both the product and its growth. Responsibilities:
* Build and scale Python (FastAPI or similar) microservices that process large volumes of data in real time
* Design and own third-party integrations (review platforms, POS systems, external data sources)
* Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability
* Integrate AI/ML services (e.g., LLM APIs, LangChain) to analyze feedback and generate insights
* Build and iterate on LLM pipelines for summarization, diagnostics, and recommendations
* Contribute to frontend dashboards (React/Next.js)
* Work with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
* Support data modeling and system design decisions as the platform scales
What We’re Looking For:
* 3+ years of experience building and shipping production Python applications
* Strong experience with FastAPI (or similar frameworks) and PostgreSQL/SQL
* Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain, or AI/ML APIs
* Experience designing scalable systems and integrations
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with high ownership
