This role is critical to the success of a large-scale Business & Operational Readiness deployment for a next-generation facility.This is not a traditional EA role. You will operate at the heart of the programme, combining enterprise architecture leadership with IT workstream ownership, ensuring that technology enables scalable, secure, and efficient operations from start-up through to business-as-usual.Key Responsibilities
If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.- Enterprise Architecture Ownership: Define and govern end-to-end architecture across SAP (ECC / S/4HANA) and enterprise IT systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and operations
- B&OR Strategy & Deployment: Co-develop (with PMO) the Priority 1 Business & Operational Readiness deployment approach, including methodology, deliverables, and execution strategy
- Business, Data & Application Architecture:Align cross-functional business processes and capabilitiesEnsure consistent, secure, and accessible data across the organisationRationalise the application landscape to avoid duplication and inefficiency
- Technology & Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee IT infrastructure (networks, cloud, hardware) ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational continuity
- IT Workstream Leadership: Act as Joint IT Workstream Lead, coordinating all IT implementations across SAP and surrounding systems within a complex programme environment
- Integration & Systems Landscape: Ensure seamless integration between SAP and third-party systems
- Governance & Stakeholder Management:Collaborate closely with C level managementDrive decision-making across business and IT stakeholdersEnsure alignment with Group IT standards
- Security & Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance in a regulated environment
- Vendor & Team Oversight: Manage IT & Data professionals and third-party vendors, ensuring delivery quality and alignment to programme goals
- Transformation Delivery: Lead large-scale IT implementations, migrations, and digital transformation initiativesRequired ProfileExperience
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
- Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmesSAP & Technology Expertise
- 10+ years of SAP experience including S/4 HANA
- Extensive experience integrating SAP with third-party systems
- Knowledge of infrastructure (LAN/WAN), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and OS environmentsProgramme & Leadership Capability
- Experience managing IT workstreams within complex programmes
- Ability to coordinate multiple project streams and timelines
- Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teamsArchitecture Competencies
- Expertise across Business, Data, Application, and Technology Architecture
- Experience preventing fragmented ("accidental") architectures
- Strong understanding of end-to-end process flowsCertifications / Education
- Bachelor's degree (IT or related), MBA preferred
- Programme management certification (PMP or equivalent preferred)
- SAP certifications are a strong plusSoft Skills
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in complex environments
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesNice to Have
- Experience with Business & Operational Readiness (B&OR) programmes
- Certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or MCSE
