As the Medical Affairs Manager Metabolics & Epilepsy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy and implementing local medical strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs)
Organize and support KOL and HCP events such as advisory boards and workshops
Represent Danone at national and international symposia (e.g., ESPGHAN, Nutrition & Growth)
Maintain connections with local paediatric associations and networks
Serve as the medical point of contact for the local solutions community
Medical & Scientific Leadership: act as a content-driven partner for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure medical substantiation of commercial propositions
Translate scientific insights into practical applications
Coordinate local clinical studies to support our value proposition
Gather field insights and identify growth opportunities for the Metabolics & Epilepsy portfolio
Education & Training: train internal teams on medical topics, clinical practices, and product positioning
Develop educational materials for the Benelux region
Communicate scientific evidence internally and externally Ensure consistent and credible messaging across all channels
Budget & Team Collaboration: manage the local medical budget within cross-functional teams
Collaborate closely with the Belgian solutions and strategy teams
Contribute to a positive team culture and motivation
About You
Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences or Nutrition
1–4 years of experience in Medical Affairs (healthcare, nutrition, science, or pharmaceutical industry)
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
Strong team player with commercial acumen
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with HCP
Project management skills and perseverance
