Location & Working Arrangement: This is a full-time position, carried out from our offices in Dubai or Lisbon, or full-remote from anywhere in the world (with frequent travels to Dubai).
Languages: French and English fluency required.
YOUR MISSION
1. SET THE TECH VISION
o Architect the future of learning tech.
o Align tech with product, growth & design for maximum impact.
o Explore and apply breakthrough tech—AI, speech recognition, adaptive learning engines, and mobile-native UX—to enhance how users learn.
2. BUILD THE PRODUCT & PROTOTYPES
o Lead the full-stack development of our core platform.
o Co-create MVPs with product & design, test relentlessly, iterate and ship fast.
o Prioritize simplicity, performance, and “wow” moments.
3. SUPERCHARGE INTERNAL SYSTEMS
o Streamline infrastructure, automation, and back-office tooling.
o Choose best-in-class tools (buy vs build) to scale fast and stay lean.
o Design robust, scalable architectures that power every business unit (finance, ops, CS).
4. DRIVE DATA STRATEGY & OBSERVABILITY
o Build a modern data stack that enables real-time decisions.
o Implement clean pipelines, automated dashboards, and A/B testing.
o Ensure full visibility on product usage, engagement, and outcomes.
5. OWN DELIVERY & PRIORITIZATION
o Translate the product vision into a real-life roadmap.
o Align with product on what ships when, with ruthless prioritization.
o Manage tech budgets, timelines, and key metrics.
6. REPRESENT TECH INTERNALLY & EXTERNALLY
o Speak at events, write articles, and build our visibility in tech circles.
o Be a true partner to business, product, and design teams.
7. LEAD YOUR TEAM TO EXCELLENCE
o Mentor and retain world-class engineers.
o Set high standards in code quality, documentation, and velocity.
o Cultivate a culture of ownership, experimentation, and high performance.

Requirements
* You have startup experience as a CTO or senior technology leader.
* You are strategic and hands-on: able to design architecture and jump into code when needed.
* You care deeply about education, personal growth, and impact.
* You lead with energy, clarity, and empathy—and attract A-players who want to follow your lead.
* French & English fluency required.
