We are looking for a Data Engineer Expert to join a dynamic team and contribute to strategic Business Intelligence and data management projects on Microsoft Azure. You will analyze, design, implement, and secure data solutions for process-driven applications, ensuring compliance with best practices in data governance and security.
This position is an onsite contract.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, Storage, and processing pipelines in Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Stream Analytics).
Develop and maintain BI models and dashboards using Power BI (DAX, M).
Draft and review technical and functional specifications.
Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data quality and security.
Provide technical support and recommendations for continuous improvement of data systems.
Profile
Experience: Minimum 10 years in IT, including 8 years in Business Intelligence and 5 years on Microsoft Azure.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science or related field.
Languages: Fluent English (C1 minimum).
Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipeline, Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark Pools
Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift
Power BI (DAX, M) and ETL (SSIS, SSAS)
Programming: SQL, Python
