Project Leader – High Voltage Substations – Dutch required – ALTEN Belgium
The Role
As part of our continuous growth, ALTEN Belgium is looking for a Project Leader to manage high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects in East and West Flanders.
You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle of substation projects (36 kV to 380 kV), from definition and design to execution, commissioning, and administrative closure. You will manage planning, budget, and coordination with all involved stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead electrical infrastructure projects for high-voltage substations (380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV)
* Define project scope, perform studies, and coordinate design activities
* Prepare preliminary designs, budgets, and project planning
* Manage project planning, budget follow-up, and reporting
* Contribute to tender documentation and participate in procurement processes
* Coordinate and supervise on-site project execution with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
* Deliver projects autonomously with regular reporting to the manager
Your Profile
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (mandatory)
* Experience in project management (junior profiles / starters are also welcome)
* Knowledge of high-voltage systems
* Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills
* Assertive and customer-oriented communicator
* Team player with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset
Languages
* Dutch: fluent (required)
* French: asset
