Junior Budget Planning Role
The Junior Budget Planner will work closely with various stakeholders to coordinate, monitor, and optimize budget-related activities across the EMEA Development Centre (EDC).
This role involves keeping management informed about cost evolution, proposing necessary actions to align with targets, and fostering a culture of cost awareness and transparency within the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparation of the EDC Resource Plan, encompassing expenses, investments, and workforce requirements.
* Management of entire EDC budget cycle: tracking, controlling and reporting of result vs. budget, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial targets.
* Standardize and enhance processes related to budget planning, control, and reporting across various development bases in Europe.
* Advocate for cost responsibility, correctness, and transparency throughout the organization.
* Enhance cost planning & monitoring as one of the main pillars of an effective project management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Commercial Engineering.
* Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Critical mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for process improvement.
* Effective communicator and enthusiastic team player, comfortable in a multicultural environment.
* Advanced Excel user, knowledge of Power BI and SAP environment will be considered as a plus.
* Proficient in English.
